Flexible visiting policies – Weekends – Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Pandemic

It is hereby informed that as of Monday, April 4, 2022, new regulations will be in force, easing restrictions, extending visiting hours and allowing visitors on weekends.

New conditions:

Days and hours: each patient may be visited by a relative for an hour and a half, Monday through Saturday, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. or 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.; and on Sunday for two hours, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. They may stay inside the room or in the nearest corridor. The visiting hours for each patient will be agreed upon between family members and the Patient Services area.

Safety Protocol: upon entering the Clinic, family members must clean their hands and their body temperature must be taken. During their stay in the institution, they must keep their mask correctly in place and patients must wear masks too. All visitors must be fully vaccinated (3 doses or 2nd dose applied in a period of time not exceeding 4 months). Having the booster dose of vaccination applied is strongly recommended in order to reduce risks.

Visits of minors: they must be coordinated in conjunction with the Patient Services and Infectious Diseases areas, and their frequency shall be 1 or 2 times a month.

This relaxation of visiting days and hours is implemented for the well-being of both patients and their families during the rehabilitation process. Likewise, the new regulations are subject to the epidemiological evolution of the current pandemic and, in the event of an internal outbreak of Coronavirus, visits will be suspended according to the Contingency Plan in place for these cases.

It is our hope that you will understand these measures aimed at reducing the risk of contagion, thus taking care of your health and that of your hospitalized family member.
